Buried in the mist of some distant Chinese landscape, there is a mountain named Wobbly Peak, home to a wobbly monastery. Everything about it is precarious and uncertain. The monks there aren’t sure of anything and no one seems able to answer the probing questions of the young Xu Kong, a novice who wants to know the meaning of illusion, suffering, compassion and all those other complicated words. Despite the abbot’s anxious warnings, he sets off on a dangerous journey to find a toothless old hermit, hoping to learn from him the secret of enlightenment.
